Tanzina Gazi's Lilybelle Nursery Interiors Review

Finding the perfect bedding and accessories for your little one's nursery is an important decision. You want it to speak to their own sense of personality and keep in-style with your home. We asked Parent Approved Panellist to try our Lilybelle collection. Read her Lilybelle nursery interiors review to see what she thought...

The Mamas & Papas Lilybelle Range is a beautiful girly range that instantly appealed to me. It encompasses pink, white and mint tones which are adorable. The floral print patterns are timeless and unlikely to go out of fashion with the seasons changing.

I opted to try out the Lilybelle Cotbed Coverlet, the Luxury Changing Mattress, the 2 set Fitted Sheets and Lilybelle Musical Mobile. The one thing that all four had in common was quality. They were all great that will no doubt last a long while. I have been trying out the items for a few months now, so this is what I think...

Lilybelle Nursery Interiors Review | Coverlet

Image of the Lilybelle interiors coverlet

My favourite of the collection has to be the Lilybelle Cot Bed Coverlet. The coverlet is quilted with hand-embroidered patterns of bunnies and dandelions with cute acorns on the reverse side. The quality is amazing. With it being 100% cotton, it’s gentle on my daughter’s skin and 1.5 tog which keeps her nice and toasty. I was a little nervous the first time I washed it in the washing machine but it came out a dream. You can also dry it in the tumble drier!

The fitted cot sheets compliment the Coverlet beautifully. They come in two different prints. The mint shade with a white acorn print which is my personal favourite. Plus there's a pretty pink shade with little bunnies dotted all over. They too are 100% cotton and wash and dry really well. With babies, you can never predict when the next accident will happen. So bedding that washes well is extremely important to me.

Luxury Changing Mat

The Lilybelle interiors changing mat

The Luxury Changing Mat is the snazziest changing mat I have come across. It even has a pillow to support your little one’s head! It complements the rest of the Lilybelle Range with the same matching ditsy print and pink and white colour palette. The mat is so practical. The pillow detaches from the changing mat as well as the towelling liner, so should any mishaps happen, it is really easy to just detach and wash. You can also get additional liners should you need them. I think these would have been so handy for me during the newborn stage (also known as the poo explosion stage!)

Musical Mobile

Close up of the Lilybelle musical mobile

We currently no longer use the Lilybelle Musical Mobile. Aria is now 9 months old and has outgrown it but it definitely kept her entertained in the cot when we did have it up. It would play lullabies that would soothe her, and it too matches the rest of the range really well. I’ve packaged it up and put it away for any potential future children to enjoy as much as Aria did.

Overall, I have loved the Lilybelle Range, not only for its beauty but practicality as well. I’ve used it for a good few months now and everything is still in a really good condition. I love the pink and mint tones. I will definitely be on the lookout for something similar when Aria transitions into toddler bedding. It’s a definite must-buy recommendation from me.
