Baby Loss Support: Our Stories

Baby loss support

This article discusses pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby.

Losing a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth or shortly afterwards, can be one of the most difficult experiences a family faces.

You may feel overwhelmed, heartbroken, angry or unsure what happens next. You may feel numb, or find that your emotions change from one day to the next. There is no right way to grieve, and the stage at which a pregnancy ends does not determine how much your loss matters.

Whether you are experiencing pregnancy loss yourself, supporting a partner or helping someone close to you, support is available.

Our Stories

Experiencing pregnancy loss can feel incredibly isolating, but many parents have walked a similar path. By sharing their personal experiences, Mamas & Papas colleagues hope to offer comfort, understanding and reassurance to anyone navigating miscarriage, baby loss or the emotional impact of a difficult pregnancy journey. Every story is different, but each reminds us of the importance of support, compassion and knowing that you're not facing this alone.
