About Mamas & Papas

If this is your first time with Mamas & Papas, or you simply want to get to know us a little better, here we talk a little bit about who we are, what we do and why we might be the nursery brand for you.

If you’re a new parent then you’re bound to experience a lot of firsts: the first scan, the first kick and buying your first pushchair. While there’s plenty of advice on hand to help you navigate those personal moments of pregnancy, when it comes to buying your essential items, it can all feel a little…overwhelming.

That’s why Mamas & Papas is here. To bring you the best in essential parenting tools and make it easier to find the ones that are right for you.

Mamas & Papas is a nursery brand. We were founded over 35 years ago by two parents who wanted the best products for their new daughter. They couldn’t find them on the high street, so they decided to create their own.

From there, both the family and the business grew. Now we bring the very best in quality and design to new parents and families. Over the years we’ve gained insights into parenting, a lot of them are from personal experience, and we use these insights to inform everything we do.

What does Mamas & Papas do?

We create our own distinct range of parenting products, like the Mamas & Papas Ocarro pushchair, and the Baby Snug booster seat. Our ranges include:

Not only do we create our own products but we source the very best from the rest of the high street. We work with popular brands to give you even more choice, these brands include:

We invite parenting experts to come and discuss important subjects like baby first aid, car seat safety as well as hosting pushchair demonstrations and talks on creating a dream nursery. If you’re just starting out, they’re a great way to learn more.

Our ethos at Mamas & Papas is ‘Designed for Parents, by Parents’ and that is true of everything we do. Not only do we use our personal experiences, but also we’re constantly talking to and working with real parents to make sure we’re meeting their (and your) needs.

When it comes to creating great products, we trial all our designs with real families to make sure they’re up to the job. We also test everything here in the UK at our accredited test lab, putting products through their paces before you bring them home. And once we’re done, we work with Feefo to get your feedback and use it to improve everything we do.
