Do not let your child overheat. Do not use in combination with a cot duvet or blanket or your baby could overheat. Instead, select the correct tog rating, adjust what your baby wears and regularly check your baby is not too hot or too cold. Take into account the room temperature and the child’s sleepwear. Do not let your child walk in the swaddle bag. Ensure that the neck and arm fastenings are securely fastened. Stop swaddling when baby shows signs of rolling. Stop swaddling when baby becomes frustrated with arm restriction or can break free. Stop using swaddle at the first sign of damage. Do not use if the child can climb out of the cot.
