The MAM Nipple Shields offer short-term support during breastfeeding. They make it very easy for babies to drink because they feel so familiar thanks to their silky smooth SkinSoft™ surface and their natural shape.
MAM Nipple Shields are designed to be used when you have sore or cracked nipples; they protect nipples during breastfeeding and allow you to breastfeed for longer. They are made from extremely soft, extra-thin, flexible silicone and have a 'breast-like' feel. They are specially shaped to allow your baby to have skin contact with you while breastfeeding which allows baby to feel and smell you and therefore continue to stimulate your milk supply while suckling. Your baby will easily return to your breast once your nipples are healed. The Size Large Nipple Shields are for large nipples measuring 23mm and are packed in a handy box which acts as a mini steriliser. Just add water and pop in the microwave for 3 minutes to sterilise. Size Small & Medium nipple shields are also available, measuring 17mm & 20mm.

Composition: Silicone 8g
Care & Maintenance: Clean the nipple shields before first and after each use. Before the first use - place nipple shields in boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene. Sterilise using one of the following methods: steam sterilising (electric or microwave according to manufacturers instructions), boiling in water for at least 5 minutes or liquid sterilising solution. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. In order to store the sterilised nipple shields hygienically - keep them in the closed sterilised carry box. Instructions for use: Inspect the nipple shields before each use and replace at the first signs of damage. Before first use contact a midwife or health consultant. Can be sterilised in an autoclave (up to 134°C, up to 18 min).
