The Kit & Kin Story

We always knew that if we added a nappy to our range, it would have to be Kit & Kin. And here’s why.

Emma Bunton founded Kit & Kin after both of her children suffered from eczema when they were little. As a new mum, finding natural products that didn’t cause them additional skin irritation was a struggle. At the same time, Emma was concerned for the environment and the impact made by her everyday choices as a new mum.

‘All we want as new parents is to protect our babies and the world that they grow up in. Nappies are one of those absolute essential products for parents, and we all know just how many you can get through in a day, especially with a newborn. This was why we wanted to create an eco-friendly nappy which not only does the job but is made using natural, sustainably sourced materials to be kinder to the planet.'

Once Emma was introduced to co-founder Christopher Money, a father of three who shared her challenges and concerns, that was it. The idea of Kit & Kin was born.

Better for baby & better for our world

Kit & Kin’s entire range is plant-based, sustainably made and only uses natural materials and ingredients, which means it protects the most delicate newborn skin, as well as our planet.

Every Kit & Kin product is better for your baby, better for our world and gives back. Through their partnership with the World Land Trust, every product supports the protection of precious rainforest for generations to come. So that you can be sure that you’re making a positive impact every time you change a nappy or bathe your little one.

By signing up to their flexible nappy subscription you are personally protecting 5 rainforest trees forever. These trees will go on to create 1620 litres of water and 13 tonnes of carbon. Isn’t that amazing?

The Kit & Kin Product Range

The brand’s eco range includes all the gentle, sustainable changing & bathing products that you will need for your little one.

Their hypoallergenic eco nappies are the most accredited eco option on the market. Made in a carbon neutral factory, they are hypoallergenic and approved by dermatologists, which makes them gentle even on the softest newborn skin. And have you seen the super cute animal designs on the bum?

Wrap up the eco nappies in Kit & Kin nappy sacks which are biodegradable, alongside their biodegradable 99% water baby wipes.

Curious about cloth nappies? You’re in the right place! Kit & Kin is the only brand that gives parents both options: eco disposable nappies and reusable cloth nappies. Their plant-based reusable range includes nappies in 3 of their adorable designs, reusable wipes, boosters and disposable nappy liners.

Finally, their mum & baby skincare range is certified natural by the Soil Association. From breast balm and bump butter to baby bathing and care products, everything is naturally nourishing, hypoallergenic and approved by dermatologists. Emma’s number 1 secret is the Magic Salve: ‘It’s such a clever balm that calms, moisturises, and helps clear up skin irritation anywhere on the body. It’s a miracle worker on dry lips as well as babies’ bottoms!’
